'Dark Shadows' (H. Hansen, 2004) Large hosta. 'Dark Shadows' features thick heart-shaped leaves with a gently ruffled edge. In early spring the emerging blue leaves have an uneven chartreuse-yellow margin which changes to green by early summer. Pale lavender flowers top the large clump in early summer. Slug resistant. $17.00

'Dawn's Early Light' (O. Petryszyn, 1998) Large hosta. Hosta that truly shines and is visible from a great distance in the spring. Brilliant lemon-yellow heart-shaped leaves are wonderfully ruffled and corrugated. In early summer light lavender flowers top the mound of foliage as the leaves darken to chartreuse-green. For intense dramatic spring color this hosta can not be beat! $17.00

Lefever, Solberg 2008) - (‘Galaxy’ seedling) - Large, (28” X 66” or more) Big blue-green, sturdy, leaves that have a bright yellow margin that becomes cream in late summer make this a very stately hosta. Straight scapes produce near white flowers in June. A nice addition for that big hole in the back of the bed. $25.00

'Ghost Spirit' (C. Isaacs 99) Medium 20" high by 42" wide. Thick, smooth, pure white, with streaking and misting in creamy white soon appearing, widely margined blue-grey, dimpled; edge rippled and twisted, folded, heart shaped. The unusual colour holds best in shade but the young leaves have the strongest variegation. Variegation fades to a faint misting by summer. Slug resistant. $15.00

'Glory Hallelujah' NEW! (Hans Hansen, 2007) M 'Glory Hallelujah', a reverse variegated sport of the classic 'Paul's Glory'. Broadly heart-shaped leaves are dark blue-green and are margined by a nice yellow edge. Pale lavender flowers open midsummer on proportionate flower scapes. A good grower that has darker, more pronounced variegation than the comparison variety 'Peter Ruh'. $15.00

'Gold Standard' (Banyai 76) 24" high by 50" wide. So named for its warm golden yellow leaf center trimmed by deep green on the edges. Performs best in shade with little sun, and moderate to high watering. The funnel shaped lavender flower will appear throughout July and August. This is one of the best and most popular of all the Hosta. Sun tolerant. $12.00

'Golden Friendship' (Hideko Gowen) Medium 19" high by 30" wide. Round, cupped, leathery, golden foliage with a unique, twisty point to the leaves. The heavily-waxed leaves give a white appearance to the back of the foliage. Although the leaves emerge chartreuse green, they brighten to a brilliant golden yellow that holds until frost. In midsummer, the clumps are topped with light lavender flowers.Chartreuse colour becoming medium gold; smooth; thick. Striking unusual gold hosta. Slug resistant. Sun tolerant. $12.00

'Grand Slam' (Benedict/Gowen 1990) Medium 10" high by 26" wide. Flower funnel-shaped, rich violet on an upright purple scape. Very leathery, dark olive-green, shiny, slightly dimpled; edge distinctly and evenly rippled, flat, heart-shaped with a cuspidate tip. Red petioles. A beautiful, classic rippled green hosta.
