(Hansen 99) Spectacular! Hans Hansen brings us a vigorous sport from H. Hosta 'Olive Bailey Langdon'
LARGE 31" high by 60" wide
Slug resistant sun tolerant
Non burning 'Frances Williams' type
(O'Harra NR) Near white flowers; Leaf blade 13" by 10". This spectacular Russ O'Harra hosta was named in honor of a past president of the American Hosta Society. Similar to 'Frances Williams', we recommend it as a replacement because it has more of a glaucus bloom (powder coating) on the leaf and displays its variegation color later in the season protecting it from the burning to which 'Frances Williams' is prone. Beautiful round leaves are margined with gold. Typical leaf corrugation and plant growth of H. sieboldiana 'Elegans'.

Hosta 'Prairie Moon'
MEDIUM 18" high by 31" wide
Sun tolerant
(Hans Hansen) This medium sized hosta is revered by the breeder for its glowing yellow foliage that keeps its color all season long. Unlike many yellow hostas which either start out green in spring or turn green in summer, this one retains its yellow foliage from start to finish. In the springtime, it has thick, wedge-shaped, bright yellow leaves with lightly wavy margins, white backs, and petioles that are flecked with red spots at the base. As the season progresses, the yellow color mellows a bit but it remains distinctly yellow all season. Chartreuse scapes carry pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers in late summer.

(Van Eijk-Bos/Van Erven 01) This exciting new hosta is a mutation from the popular Hosta 'June'. Instead of the typical golden center, Hosta 'Remember Me' has a striking pure white center, surrounded by a contrasting blue-green border. Hosta 'Remember Me' is named in honor of Walters Gardens employee Sandy De Boer, who died of breast cancer in 2001. Walters Gardens will donate a portion of sales to the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation for each plant sold. Site in morning sun.

Hosta 'Ripple Effect'
SMALL 12" high by 15" wide
Slug resistant and sun tolerant
Heavily rippled edges
Sport of ‘June'. Its long, narrow, gold leaves with intensely rippled margins look more akin to ‘Pineapple Upsidedown Cake’, but have the same great substance of ‘June’. Newly emerged leaves have a narrow blue-green margin that jets irregularly towards the golden yellow center. In summer, the foliage transitions to chartreuse with a green margin. This plant forms a low, horizontal mound in the landscape. In mid to late summer, pale lavender flowers are produced on light lavender to chartreuse scapes.
