'Unforgetable' (Kuk 99) A beautiful upright grower with dark green leaves with a wide golden yellow margin. The leaves are slightly shiny, lightly cupped and corrugated. Dark green, rugose leaves of heavy substance with a 1" wide, deep gold margin. Forms a vase-shaped mound 22" tall. It is a mutation from the cross: Gold Regal x gold Tokadama seedling. Medium lavender tubular flowers on 33" scapes in mid-July. It features excellent color contrast. Slug resistant. $15.00

'Victory' (Zilis) Giant 30" high by 70" wide, near white flowers. Leaf blade 12" by 9". Shiny, medium green center, margin greenish yellow changing to creamy white; smooth texture; thick substance. Sport of 'Elatior'. Tall 5 foot flower scapes. $20.00

'Vulcan' (H. Hansen/Shady Oaks Nursery, Reg. Pending) Large hosta. This sport of 'Captain Kirk' has creamy-white leaves with dark green margins. Golden-yellow streaks occur along the interior margins where the white and green overlap. 'Vulcan' has a vigorous growth rate for a white-centered hosta. Pale lavender flowers bloom in mid to late summer. Classy! $20.00
'Warwick Comet' (L. Jones, 1999) Medium hosta. Gil Jones' 'Warwick Comet' features cupped-shaped white centered leaves with a dark green margin. The white leaf center streaks down the entire leaf petiole which is edged on each side by a narrow green edge. Pale lavender flowers top the flashy clump in midsummer. Unique! $15.00
'Whirlwind' (Kulpa 88) Medium 18" high by 40" wide. Thick, pale chartreuse becoming ivory to bright yellow then fading to drab green late, widely and irregularly margined dark olive-green with celadon streaking, strongly veined, slightly dimpled, twisted, recurved at the tip. 'Wide Brim' (Aden 79) Large 18" high by 36" wide. Good substance, dark green with a blue cast, widely and irregularly margined pale yellow to cream with streaks jetting to the midrib, dimpled; edge flat to slightly folded, widely oval with a cuspidate tip. Site in good light to filtered shade for best colours. Wide leaf margin. Sun tolerant. $12.00
'Winter Snow' (Pine Forest Gardens) Giant hosta 6" high by 60" wide. Leaf blade 16" by 14". Good substance, chartreuse to old-gold, misted, streaked and striped cream and white, irregularly margined pure white, prominently veined; edge undulate, slightly folded to cupped, widely oval with a cuspidate tip. Site in morning sun with plenty of moisture. A colourful addition to the many sports of 'Sum and Substance.' Sun tolerant. Slug resistant. $17.00

'Wolverine' (J. Wilkins 95) Medium 18" high by 38" wide. Leaf blade 10" by 5". Good substance, smooth, blue-tinted green, widely and irregularly margined and splashed cream to white with celadon streaks; edge slightly rippled, arching widely lanceolate with an acute tip. 'Wooly Bully' 20" high by 36" wide.Variegated sport of ‘Blue Boy’. The yellow coloured edge on blue leaves makes for great contrast. Lavender blooms. Fast grower. $12.00
'World Cup' 19” high by 39” wide. Leaf Detail: 9” long by 6” wide; bright gold; cupped; wavy. Flowering: very pale purple flowers from late June into July on scapes up to 36” high. 'Yesterday's Memories' (Hans Hansen) Sport from H. 'Squash Casserole'. Exhibiting the same amazing vigor of the parent, forms a 4' wide clump of chartreuse golden leaves surrounded by a contrasting dark green border. The vigorous clumps are topped in midsummer with 20" spikes of light lavender flowers. $12.00
