About This Plant

This brightly colored hosta illuminates the shade garden with its chartreuse leaves that turn gold as the season progresses. The rugose textured, rounded leaves grow at a strong rate to form a medium sized mound. In early to midsummer, pale lavender flowers are produced above the foliage on chartreuse to gold scapes. Try combining this gold hosta with dark foliage plants like Black Snakeroot (Cimicifuga) or Heuchera ‘Obsidian’ for striking contrast. Distinctly blue hostas like ‘Blueberry Muffin’ and ‘Silver Bay’ also complement this gold hosta nicely.
