About This Plant

Leaf blade 9in by 3in . Smooth, chartreuse to rich golden yellow developing a narrow and irregular dark green margin with some streaks; edge conspicuously rippled, slightly folded, elliptic with an acute tip. Leaves have resemblance to the tuft of leaves at the top of a pineapple. Site in morning sun. This sport of H.'Pineapple Poll' is a medium clump of long lance-shaped leaves and has the same variegation type as H. 'Paul's Glory' with the leaf emerging blue-green and then the leaf center becoming gold (and then white in more heat and light) as the season progresses. Leaves are ruffled and have very heavy substance.
