This medium sized hosta is revered by the breeder for its glowing yellow foliage that keeps its color all season long. Unlike many yellow hostas which either start out green in spring or turn green in summer, this one retains its yellow foliage from start to finish. In the springtime, it has thick, wedge-shaped, bright yellow leaves with lightly wavy margins, white backs, and petioles that are flecked with red spots at the base. As the season progresses, the yellow color mellows a bit but it remains distinctly yellow all season. Chartreuse scapes carry pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers in late summer.
